The Kinetic Oil Purification Plants (KOPP) are suitable for a large range of oils including transformer, hydraulic and turbine oils.

Product Components
The KOPPs comprise of:
Filtration system
- Suitable for removing suspended particles such as carbon, oxidation sludge, dirt, rust, and scale down to < 1 micron (PRE FILTER and FINE FILTER)
Strainer
- A fitted metallic strainer rated 100 micron. The strainer removes suspended particles and protects the inlet pump from damage
Pre filter
- Removes all suspended particles up to < 10micron
Fine filter
- Removes all suspended particles up to < 5 micron or less if required.
- Filter cartridge, differential pressures can be monitored by gauges, with auto shut down at elevated pressures
Degassing and dehydration chamber
- Designed to remove dissolved impurities, moisture and gas from oil
- The oil is sprayed into the vacuum chamber through a number of nozzles thereby exposing a very large surface area to the vacuum, maximizing the rate of water and gas removal
- Oil level is controlled by VSD control of the pumps and level switches in the chamber
Vacuum system
- Rotary vane oil-sealed vacuum pump in combination with a mechanical roots based booster pump is provided to ensure an ultra high vacuum is maintained.
